Abalone Amulet #6
From my personal shell stash, Abalone Amulet #6 was gathered from Jalama on the first of the year and is very near and dear to my heart. Jalama is a magical beach on California’s Central Coast hidden by rolling green hills and cattle ranches, just north of Point Conception, which the Chumash people, who originally inhabited the area, considered to be the sacred “Western Gate” where souls exited this world.
Abalone Amulet #6 comes on an extra long 80” leather cord with its own sea snail shell toggle and can be worn any way you like or used by itself as a bowl. Because of its larger size, #6 might be best as a necklace, bolo tie, belt, or slung crossbody. Shown styled with Dev’s handmade ‘94 Ford Aerostar Safety Belt.
